Relay for Life Walk to Cure Cancer
St. Andrew's Parish has supported a Relay team for several years. We call ourselves Andy's Saints and throughout the years, we have collected several thousand dollars for cancer research, education, and advocacy.
The 2010 Relay for Life 24 hour walk will be on July 30/31. It begins on Friday around 5 pm and ends on Saturday at noon. Every participant is encouraged to not only work with the team in group fundraising (wine tasting party, raffle ticket sales, car wash, etc), but to also ask for financial support from family and friends.
We are actively recruiting team members to help us in our fund-raising efforts and to participate in the walk.
Your Relay for Life team are offering another exciting evening of wine tasting, snacks, and fun on Friday, April 23rd from 6 to 8 pm at D & W Wine Cellars on Highway 410 (across from US Bank). Tickets will be available after all the Masses on the weekends of April 10/11 and April 17/18 in Building B, so look for us while you enjoy some coffee and friendships. Ticket prices are: $25 for single or $40 for couples. Your donation will help your Team raise money for cancer research, education, and advocacy.
