A podcast is a series of digital audio or video files that are released periodically and downloaded through web syndication. Essentially, podcasting allows you to select the things you'd like to listen to, subscribe to them, have them downloaded to your computer or portable audio device, and listen to them when you want to. Once you’ve subscribed, they will update automatically for you.
This is very easily done via the use of iTunes which is a free Apple product available for use on both PC and Mac formats. Enjoy this great way to learn more about our faith and other faithful. If you have any questions about the process, please email stewardship@standrewsumner.org.
If you have any favorite Catholic podcasts you would like to add to this page, please send an email to the address noted above.
SQPN - The Star Quest Production Network
We are a group of young people from all over the world, producing great Catholic programs – audio and video – for people like you!
These audio and video productions are geared for people all around the world. They focus on building bridges between the dominant popular culture of the Western world and the religious culture and tradition of the Catholic Church in order to reach an audience that has little or no relationship with that Church.
All our programs are distributed as ‘podcasts’: small audio and videofiles that are made available on the internet.
You don’t need a television, a radio or an iPod to get access to our shows: you can listen, view or download them all for free on your computer!

ETWN - Eternal World Television Network
When Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) was launched on August 15, 1981, many felt there would be little demand for a Catholic network. Now, in its 28th year, EWTN has become the largest religious media network in the world, transmitting programming 24 hours a day to more than 148 million homes in 144 countries and territories on more than 4,800 cable systems, wireless cable, Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS), low power TV and individual satellite users.
